Case study

Our client required a full upgrade of all electronic security countermeasures including perimeter detection, surveillance, access control and security systems in this million dollar upgrade program.

IPP Risk designed a new operating platform allowing integrated control of alarms, surveillance and perimeter lighting control which could be operated by a single security operator.

The use of high end video analytics in conjunction with infrared beams and an in-ground detection system were deployed for perimeter protection. These are interfaced directly with the video surveillance system and radio paging system to provide rapid automatic transmission of alarms to responding security staff.

Missions critical security applications in the corrections field requires high specification equipment that has been tried and tested in harsh environments. Installation methods employed by the installation contractors are vital to ensure equipment and cabling cannot be tampered with or compromised. The installation, testing and commissioning phase required constant levels of inspection and project management from the IPP team.

The project was successfully delivered on time and on budget.
