IPP Technology Consulting managed a large relocation for around 12,000 people in Melbourne!
IPP Consulting recently completed a role managing the technology components of a large relocation project of approximately 12,000 people in Melbourne. The project took some 18 months to design, plan and organise co-ordination between technology, property and business units, and was then executed over an eight month period.
IPP supplied the Senior Project Manager in overall charge on a full-time basis, in addition to a flexible resourcing model involving up to 18 additional IPP staff for peak periods, especially leading up to and including the relocation weekends.
The project was a complete success, and follows on from a similar large technology project successfully undertaken a few years prior to this one, which had a similar end-result.
