IPP Security Consulting to work on Victoria’s Desalination Plant

The $3.5 billion Victorian Desalination Project is the largest seawater desalination plant currently being developed in Australia, and one of the largest reverse osmosis plants being developed in the world.

IPP has been contracted by Thiess Degrémont, the design and construction contractor for the project, to provide security consultancy services for the design and delivery of the entire site's security solution.

The enormity of the site is one of the challenges facing the security design, however IPP will utilise innovation and leading edge security solutions to ensure a cost-effective, low-maintenance solution that will sustain the project through its 30-year project term.
