Establishing Sydney "Technology" Consulting
12 February 2008

IPP Consulting Pty Ltd has announced the expansion of their technology consulting and contracting practice into the Harbour City. Applying their Melbourne model, IPP is employing mainly permanent and contract project managers, consultants and analysts to help clients manage their technology life-cycles, potentially from the first idea right through to execution and beyond in terms of ongoing advice and support.

Managed by recent recruit Brian Bailey, the focus is on helping clients maximise their return on often considerable technology investments.

“We are delighted to expand the range of services out of our Sydney office" said John Curtis, Director Northern Australia and Pacific. "Brian has a great track record in knowledge and technology management for companies like Optus, Ernst & Young and KPMG and their clients. Our customers have indicated they need this expanded capability to deal with increasingly convergent technologies in their own projects and operations. We can now offer a holistic response to our clients' needs along with our specialist services."

Brian Bailey adds "Organisational 'know how' in evaluating technology options, requirements gathering, designing and implementing systems solutions is hard to come by and even harder to keep. I think many companies prefer to stay focused on their own core business than trying to keep up with the constantly changing technology environment. Instead of the HR department being reduced to a revolving door of IT recruitment, it can pay to let someone else take on that burden and tap into their expertise and resources."
