Deloitte set out to transform its national office portfolio, creating future-focused, tech-enabled workplaces across Sydney, Melbourne, Parramatta, Canberra and Adelaide.
Their goal was to deliver smart, secure environments that support hybrid work, sustainability, and evolving employee needs. As part of this transformation, Deloitte required integrated solutions that aligned advanced workplace technologies with robust physical and electronic security infrastructure, while ensuring seamless interactions across systems and teams.
Involvement
IPP partnered with Deloitte across multiple roles, providing strategic guidance as Technology Consultant, Smart Building Advisor, Security and AV Consultant, Program Governance Lead and Technology Program Director. We supported the design and delivery of flagship offices in Sydney and Melbourne, ensuring alignment between architectural intent, base-building systems and operational technology needs.
At Sydney’s Quay Quarter Tower, IPP delivered a human-centred design approach, integrating immersive AV systems, workplace apps, occupancy sensors and national access control. In Melbourne, we led phased security consultancy and full lifecycle technology integration, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards and the seamless adoption of Deloitte’s One Card system. Across all sites, IPP played a governance role, coordinating between developers, contractors, and Deloitte’s internal teams to bring their workplace aspirations to life.
Outcome
Deloitte’s new workplaces are intuitive, secure and adaptable, built to support innovation and collaboration long into the future. Each site now features integrated workplace technologies such as smart desk sensors, QR visitor access, immersive AV and mobile-first apps. Security strategies include secure zones, CCTV, frictionless access control and system integration aligned with national standards.
IPP’s involvement ensured a consistent, high-performing digital experience across locations. These future-ready workplaces provide real-time data insights, enhance employee experience and reflect Deloitte’s commitment to people-first design and technological excellence.
