A private client engaged our Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) team to conduct a sweep across a multi-level commercial premises in Melbourne. The client sought assurance that their facilities were free from any form of covert surveillance, particularly in areas used for meetings, interviews, and general operations.
Involvement
The sweep was conducted across two floors of the premises, encompassing a variety of spaces including offices, interview rooms, reception areas, and shared amenities. Given the nature of the site and the client’s operational schedule, the sweep was carried out after business hours with minimal disruption. Our team deployed a comprehensive suite of advanced TSCM tools including the OSCOR GREEN, ORION Non-Linear Junction Detector, CPM-700 Deluxe, FLIR thermal imaging, and the TALAN Telephone and Line Analyser. These tools enabled us to perform detailed radio frequency spectrum analysis, physical inspections, and telephony assessments.
Outcome
The sweep concluded with no evidence of covert surveillance devices or vulnerabilities. A detailed report was provided to the client, outlining the procedures undertaken and confirming the integrity of the site. Recommendations were also made regarding ongoing security practices and the importance of periodic sweeps, particularly following any security incidents or unauthorised access.
